The following questions can help determine if you are having sexual difficulties.
1. Do you become mentally excited during sexual situations (whether alone, stimulating a partner or being stimulated)?
2. Do you experience genital sensations (tingling, pulsing, swelling) during sexual situations?
3. Do you experience adequate genital lubrication during sexual situations?
4. Do you experience orgasms (alone or with a partner)?
5. Do you experience feelings of guilt after intercourse?
6. Do you feel inferior because of sexual problems?
7. Do you feel that your sexual functioning has negatively affected your personal relationships?
8. Do you suffer incontinence during intercourse?
9. Does your partner suffer from difficulties in sexual functioning?
10. Do you experience pain during intercourse?
Answering ‘no’ to questions 1– 4 or “yes” to questions 5-10 may signal a need for intervention. Take this opportunity to talk to your doctor
